Day Program

Claro offers a day program Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm for children and youth with special needs. Each student receives one-to-one and small group instruction in a safe and caring environment.

Mornings focus on individualized academics.  Visual schedules help establish a consistent routine and ease transitions.  We incorporate regular body breaks and sensory breaks to promote self-regulation and optimize learning potential.

Afternoons are devoted to activity-based learning including projects, life skills, community outings and visitors, field trips, and therapeutic recreation.  Throughout the day, students are supported to establish respectful relationships with one another, staff, and community members.
